Pick 5 carryover of $2,090 for Sunday November 2nd

Nobody had 5 out of 5 in the Wednesday Pick 5 on October 29th so there will be a $2,090 carryover into the Sunday November 2nd card.  The Pick 5 at Portland Meadows is a $0.20 wager with just a 15% takeout rate.  It covers races 6 through 10 on Sunday November 2nd.

Pick 5 carryover of $1,515 for Wednesday October 29th

With a pair of 20/1 long shots in the sequence on Sunday, nobody could piece together all four winners in the Pick 4.  This led to a carryover of $1,515.23 for the 10 race card on Wednesday October 29th.  The Pick 4 sequence on Wednesday will cover races 7 through 10 and post time for the 7th is 2:51pm Pacific.

Got to the track bright and early at 7am this morning to make my weekly rounds. It was a perfect morning in my opinion weather wise, 52 and cloudy and just all around pleasant. As I was walking in the gate I ran into trainer Gary Morris Sr. and said hello. I asked him if he had any winner’s coming up he could tout us on and he replied “I just had a winner the other day, Victor’s Legend….I think you picked him!”

With a $98 winner in the first leg of the Wednesday Pick 5, nobody was able to connect with all five winners in the sequence.  Since nobody had all five, there will be a carryover of $3,855 into the Sunday October 19, 2014 card.  

The Portland Meadows Pick 5 is a $0.20 wager and features a low takeout rate of just 15%.  The sequence on Sunday will cover races 6 through 10.
