Pick 5 carryover for Sunday February 8, 2015

A couple of long shots winning on Tuesday including 38 to 1 Bridlestone's Girl led to a Pick 5 carryover of $6,590.65 into Sunday's Oregon Derby Day card.  The Sunday February 8th card will kick off at 12:00pm (Pacific) and the Pick 5 will cover the final five races on the card.  The $20,000 Oregon Derby will be part of the Pick 5 sequence.

Sportive wins the Portland Mile

While the fog prevented racing fans from seeing most of the race, the fog didn’t stop Sportive and jockey Javier Matias from winning the 47th running of the $37,400 Portland Mile. Sent off at odds of 9/2, Sportive ran a very similar race in the Portland Mile as he did when he won the East Lake Handicap last time out.
