Seventy five horses were nominated for the seven Oregon bred stakes races that will make up the majority of Oregon Championship Day which is presented by Spirit Mountain Casino. This special, all Oregon bred card of racing will take place on Sunday November 18, 2012 and features the best of Oregon horse racing.
J Mancuso made it four wins in a row as he and Luis Torres cruised to an impressive win in the $15,550 Portland Meadows Fall Derby Finals on Sunday afternoon. Sent off as the 6/5 favorite in the field ten, J Mancuso broke right on cue and headed right to the front. He contested with second choice CM Got Overserved but gradually drew away to win by half a length in the end. CM Got Overserved finished up in second with Sensor running third.
