Dennis Wittcke went wire to wire on Sunday, but his win wasn’t on the track, but rather he took down the $2,000 final of Portland Meadows’ So. Cal Sunday Handicapping Contest.  The contest covered 10 weeks and began back in April, and consisted of weekly $200 contests, focusing exclusively on Southern California racing from Santa Anita Park and then Betfair Hollywood Park.  Each weekly contest, players would make their top selections for a series of races, with each pick getting a $2 win/place bet on it.  The top three money earners each week got paid, and the top two each week qualified for the $2,000 final on June 24th.
