ShowVivor enters week 4 with just 75 players left with a chance at $10,000

Portland Meadows Ultimate ShowVivor Online Contest is entering week 4, and it’s starting to get down to the nitty gritty.  Only 75 players remain out of the 1892 original players in the contest who started on October 24th.  Nobody is eligible for the $25,000 top prize, however all 75 are still eligible for a $10,000 prize if they can last the entire season. If nobody makes the whole season, the person who survives the longest will receive a $5,000 first prize.

Warnock takes home the Baxter Andruss Futurity Finals

Warnock made it a perfect two for two at Portland Meadows as he and Luis Torres scored a hard fought win over stable-mate Booken in the $33,800 Baxter Andruss Oregon-bred Futurity Finals at Portland Meadows.  Sent off as the even money favorite, Warnock broke very well under Torres and took the lead right away.  Booken also broke sharply and gave his stable-mate everything he wanted, as they battled the entire 350 yards, with just a neck separating them at the wire.

ShowVivor enters week 3 with 19 players still eligble for $25,000

Portland Meadows ShowVivor contest is entering its third week and the starting field of 1892 players that begun on October 24th has been narrowed down to 227.   The contest sounds easy enough, pick one horse to show each day and move onto the next day.  But as 1665 players learned over the first six days of the contest, all it takes is one horse to not show up and run its best race or just a little bad racing luck and you can be out.
