CM Got Overserved takes the PM Derby Finals
CM Got Overserved put a cherry on top of what has been a fantastic season for him, taking home the $12,850 Portland Meadows Derby Finals on Monday afternoon. Sent off as the 6/5 co-favorite, CM Got Overserved broke very sharply under jockey Joe Crispin and initially was running towards the rail and alongside of Booken early on. But Crispin saw the other 6/5 shot Warnock come rolling on the outside under Luis Torres so he guided his charge over towards that runner, and once CM Got Overserved saw Warnock, he dug in and held him at bay for the final 50 yards to win by a head. Warnock finished in second while Booken ran third.
CM Got Overserved is owned and bred in the State of Oregon by Randy Dickerson and runs out of the barn of trainer Nick Lowe. The final time for the 400 yards was 20.32 into a strong head wind.
