KUPL Country 98.7 Family Fun Day

Every Sunday at Portland Meadows is KUPL Country 98.7 Family Fun Day

Doors open at 9:00 AM and live racing starts at 1:00 PM at Portland Meadows featuring live Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse Racing.

Generally there are 9 races with a new race every half hour so racing continues until approximately 5:00 PM.

Horseplay - Kid Zone, is a great area for kids to enjoy a day at the races. Located on the second floor Clubhouse level, Horseplay is open to children on KUPL Country 98.7 Family Fun Days. Activities include face painting with Tina Connelly, Mr. Zee doing ‘Balloons with a Twist,” and a new weekly coloring contest. The coloring contest is free to enter and will be judged by fans on the Portland Meadows Facebook page, with the top vote getters in each age group receiving a $25 Toys R Us Gift Card.

Visit our outdoor Beer-B-Q Tent for picnic table seating and great Bar-B-Q or make reservations for our third floor Turf Club Brunch buffet.

The Turf Club Brunch begins at 12:30 and features a different hand carved item each week plus exhibition style cooking including made to order omelets and many other tasty delights.  The buffet is available for the low price of $25.00 pp.

Parking and admission are always free at Portland Meadows.
