Portland Meadows Summer OTB party tour rolls into August as there are four great OTB parties for racing fans to attend. Starting on Saturday August 1st from 2pm to 7pm in Bend at the Lava Lanes OTB, Central Oregon racing fans will have a chance to win lots of cash and prizes. The tour continues the next day with a party in Springfield at Trackstirs bar located inside the Elmers Restaurant at the Shilo Inn.
The following weekend Portland area fans can head out to the Keystone Kafe in Lake Oswego on Friday night August 7 from 4pm to 9pm to catch all the late afternoon and evening action.
The Rialto in downtown Portland will be the next stop on Saturday August 8 from 2pm to 7pm.
Portland Meadows Track Announcer Jason Beem will be hosting the event and will be giving away prizes, programs, and most importantly……LOTS OF CASH! Jason will be playing “Beat the Announcer,” a game in which OTB patrons will play head to head against Jason in a battle of handicapping wits. If your selected horse finishes ahead of Jason’s selection, you will win a cash voucher. The minimum prize is $20 and if you win four consecutive races, you will win $100 for yourself and a total of $100 for randomly selected people also at the OTB. It’s just that easy!
As with all OTB parties, these will be “NO STRINGS ATTACHED” events. No purchase is necessary and there is never an admission charge at Portland Meadows or any of our OTBs located throughout Oregon. It’s our way of saying thank you for your patronage!
